JWes Crockett serves as Minister to Children and Family at Blue Valley Baptist Church in Overland Park, Kansas.  Prior to moving to Johnson County in 2007, he served two churches in Omaha, Nebraska as Minister to Students.

He is a 2006 graduate of Grace University, Omaha, Nebraska and is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri.

JWes lives in Olathe, Kansas with his wife Rebecca, who is a published children’s author with Tate Publishing.  They have two children; Zaccheus, seventh grade, who loves riding in airplanes and Grace, third grade, who loves to display her creative artwork.

JWes enjoys being with his family, drinking coffee, and teaching the basics of golf to beginners.
