We are organized around an ACTS 1:8 strategy:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”

 

It continues to be our desire that “missions” is not just another program at church.  We believe it is something that biblically should be a part of our individual and corporate DNA as followers of Jesus. So, to that end, every program, project, partnership, event, fellowship etc. is designed to help us make impacting the global community for Christ the core of everything we do. Many individuals, several Sunday School classes, and all of our ministry departments are regularly engaging the global community through official partnerships and projects, as well as individual volunteer investments of time with local ministries outside the wall of our church.

The new birth of man's spirit by God's Holy Spirit means the birth of love for others. Missionary effort on the part of all rests thus upon a spiritual necessity of the regenerate life, and is expressly and repeatedly commanded in the teachings of Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ has commanded the preaching of the gospel to all nations. It is the duty of every child of God to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ by verbal witness under girded by a Christian lifestyle, and by other methods in harmony with the gospel of Christ.” -Baptist Faith and Message (2000)
