Sunday School
Sunday mornings, 930-1045a in the Fellowship Hall

Sunday School is designed for Middle Students to engage in God’s word with their peers. Students are divided into grade and gender based classes using LifeWay curriculum specifically designed to speak to the hearts of middle school students. There are elements of worship, video, and activities related to the lesson each week. Students are encouraged to come early in order to build community within the Student Ministry.  Sunday school begins with a larger group worship, in which all students are given the opportunity to participate in the worship team in order to
use their gifts to glorify God. After worship, students are dismissed into their own class for Bible study and discussion.

TheGathering
Sunday evenings, 600-730p in the bvbcSTUDENT Room

The Gathering is the Sunday night program for our Middle School Students.  The focus of this ministry is to teach the students God’s word and encouraging them to love one another.  It is a loving and welcoming environment for students to enjoy their time with the Lord and their brothers and sisters in Christ.

There are opportunities for students to get to know one another and make friends through games, Bible memorization, social activities, worship, and more.  All of our activities are filled with God’s truth and life applications for students. There is a large group Bible teaching led by Aim Chaosan, our Minister to Middle School, and small group discussions guided by bvbcSTUNDENT Ministry volunteer leaders. Small group discussion is an opportunity for students to share their hearts with one another facilitated by the leaders.

On the last Sunday of each month The Gathering hosts a Theme Night.  Theme night is an evening designed to build the relationships of students and leaders.  It includes food, fun and a Biblical message
