A follower of Jesus is someone who sustains a commitment to personal spiritual growth and a connection to the community of Jesus followers known as the Church.

 

And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.  (Acts 2:42 ESV)
